In this project I was tasked with finding recent articles written by NBR and creating a poster and magazine spread series. During that time was (October 2021) when a large number of constant wildfires were raging through California and posing a threat to the Sequoia National Forest in the Sierra Nevada Valley.
I chose to model the style of the sequence after vintage National Parks poster prints.
Inspiration
For the magazine spreads I wanted to maintain the same style as the poster as I felt its dramatic appeal would help represent how dire the situation of the fires truly is.
